What to Expect in Worship
Worship is at the heart of our life together. Each Sunday, we gather to hear Scripture, pray, sing, and reflect on God’s Word as it speaks into our lives today.
Rooted in the Reformed Presbyterian tradition, our service follows a rhythm of gathering, hearing the Word, responding, and being sent into the world. You will experience thoughtful preaching, beautiful music, and a welcoming, engaged community. Our style is best described as “lively traditional.”
When you worship with us, you will be welcomed into a beautiful sanctuary where a sense of the Holy is present through music, preaching, and community.
Children in Worship
Children are always welcome in worship at First Church. During the service, a children’s prayer invites participation through creative and meaningful forms of prayer. Pew boxes are available with children’s bulletins, coloring supplies, games, and Bibles to help children engage in worship. Childcare is available for children under three each Sunday during worship and adult education.
Sacraments
We celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of each month and on special liturgical days. Baptism, for both infants and adults, is offered regularly throughout the year.
