A Message from Dr. Stovell and Dr. Davis
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we share the sudden passing of Elder Chris Flint on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. So many of you knew Chris and his many activities at the church. Chris served as an elder and was the chair of the Facing Racism Action Group. He also served on the PNC that called Dr. Greg Stovell. It was common to see Chris chatting with people on the lawn at coffee hour and warmly engaging his two children, Amalie and Ashton. We ask that you keep his children, his wife Keisha, Chris’s parents, and his sister and brother in your prayers. The Deacons will be helping coordinate efforts to help the family in various ways over the coming weeks and months, if you would like to help, please email Audrey Webber (
[email protected]) or Rev. Dr. Barbara E. Davis (
[email protected]) who will put you on the contact list to help as plans develop. In the meantime, we ask for your prayers and your patience.
